To use Roots Organics Original Potting Soil 1.5 Cubic Feet (Pallet of 70 Bags), start by finding good quality garden pots with plenty of drainage holes. Fill the bottom half with the potting soil, leaving enough room for the root ball of your plant to be transplanted in (about 2" below the rim of the pot).

Then, add more soil, anchoring the plant in place with your hands and packing it down.
